I really liked your post about the museum exibit. When Eudora Welty was asked about the poverty during Great Depression she would  say that back then people did not know that they were poor. It is interesting that a lot of people are quite happy with what they have untill the concept of poverty is introduced. Miss Welty also said that South was very poor back then anyway. I myself reallyl liked the exhibition, it is clear that for those who lived back then it was the time of their lives, time to develop friendships, to fall in love, to raise children, to enjoy the circus comming to town, rtc. etc.
